PeerBridge Moldova

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026 · This is a draft for a student-run pilot in Moldova and is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

PeerBridge Moldova ("PeerBridge", "we", "us") is a peer-to-peer tutoring marketplace operated as a student project in the Republic of Moldova. We connect student-tutors with younger learners and their families.

2. Eligibility

To create a tutor account you must be at least 14 years old and currently enrolled in secondary school or university in Moldova. To create a student account on behalf of a learner under 16, you must be a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate information about yourself (and, for parents, about your child).
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
  • Tutor profiles are reviewed and may be approved, unpublished, or rejected at our sole discretion.

4. Lessons and payment

  • PeerBridge does not process payments. We never collect lesson fees, commissions, service fees or booking fees.
  • Prices shown on tutor profiles are indicative and set by each tutor. The final price, schedule and payment method are agreed directly between the student (or their parent) and the tutor.
  • All payments are made directly to the tutor, outside the platform. We are not a party to that arrangement and cannot issue refunds.
  • Some tutors offer a free introductory meeting. Whether one is offered is entirely up to each tutor.
  • The 10% grade-improvement reward is a recognition offered by participating tutors on their own prices; it is not a payment or credit issued by PeerBridge.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PeerBridge to harass, deceive, exploit, or endanger any other user. You agree not to share contact details that bypass the platform before a lesson is confirmed, and not to use the platform for any purpose other than tutoring.

6. Child safety

Because this platform involves minors, our Trust & Safety rules are part of these Terms. Violations may result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to Moldovan authorities.

7. Liability

PeerBridge is a marketplace; tutoring services are provided by independent student-tutors. We do our best to vet tutors but cannot guarantee outcomes. Because no money passes through PeerBridge, we are not responsible for pricing disputes, non-payment, refunds or any financial arrangement between a student and a tutor. To the maximum extent permitted by Moldovan law, our liability is excluded.

8. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change. Questions: hello@peerbridge.md.
